Part Three: The Validation Process
Ensuring the efficiency of line design is really important during this whole process. To do this, we undertake computer simulation. There are so many aspects we need to consider to refine line designs. The key elements we take into consideration during this are:
- Individual equipment efficiencies
- MTBF/MTTR
- Equipment speeds
- Line accumulation
- Component Replenishment
- Number of staff
